Coming Soon
- Wonder Woman 1984 (Warner Bros.) has finally settled on a release date of December 25. Look for it on both HBO Max and in select theaters (tickets on sale now; check your local listings). Check out Warner Bros.’ new movie release strategy for 2021, courtesy of Variety.com.
- Soul (Pixar Animation Studios) is coming exclusively to Disney+ on December 25 without any “Premiere Access” fees. What a great Christmas present!
Also of Note
Director Francis Ford Coppola and Paramount Pictures are issuing a new version of the much maligned The Godfather Part III (1990). It’s even got a new title: The Godfather Coda: The Death of Michael Corleone. Rumor has it that it’s a big improvement (thank goodness). Look for it at a theater near you December 4; also coming to Blu-ray and Digital on December 8. And look for a Godfather retrospective coming soon to the podcast.
